1) Can you talk us about the
story of DIAMATREGON ?
DIAMATREGON is a one-man-band born a few time ago (feb'97) but it has been
done to use old ideas (riffs, lyrics, sounds...) I couldn't use in my others
bands. At the first beginning the idea was to compose music just before recording,
to have something extremely primitive and pure. In fact I spent one week recording
and producing the first demo so it turned more elaborated than I thought.
It is entitled "Between the devil and the deep blue sea", 30 minutes for 7
tracks of fast, brutal, tortured,apocalyptic and painful Black metal, surrounded
by an occult atmosphere. I think it's a new hateful feeling...not easylistening
like nowadays bands!

3) What do you think about the French scene ?
The French scene seems to be looked by others countries as uninteresting,
isn't it? (No!!!-ndr) but there are great bands like Supuration (now Sup)
and Darken(first album out now) ... Into Black metal; Blut Aus Nord did a
great work , there are also a lot of BM bands with demos, more and more, some
are very good (tenebricosus,Northwinds...) some are not.
4) Which are your greatest influence and inspirations ? Influence ?
All is influence (even you who read this) Inspiration? Myself hating people.
5) Your opinion on occultism and religions...
Occultism is something hard to enter, you have to follow yourself by your
own initiation. Religion is easier, just follow the other and let them think
for yourself then pay!!! Now, choose your way!
6) What do you think about today's trend in Underground ?
The only TRENDS in the scene are the one who always speaks about trends. Who
cares, how can someone say you are trend and I am not!
7) Are lives show a form of trend ?
Mayhem where playing live, where they trendy? No, but etc. etc., j'en ai rien
a foutre de ton questionnaire a 2 balles que t'as fait le même pour tout le
monde, c'est pas se foutre de la gueule du monde ça ?????? Bon, continuons...
8) Which is the ideology of the band ?
Black thrash ideology, piss off! Fuck off but no fucking romantic ideas at
all or vampiric shit.
9) Which are your future plans ?
At the moment I have just finished a split video "DIAMATREGON vs MOLOCHIOS
: video war". It is an home made video and it's very impressive. You can get
these 20 minutes of darkness exclusively thought DMG productions. A split
demo with MOLOCHIOS again will be out in jan'98, it's called "Spit Demon"
(ehhhh). For myself it will be rare tracks and rehearsal tracks of true unholy
Black metal. A promotape "Vinbär Frost" will be out one of these days and
this time I'll use a session drummer (Krukka), and maybe a session organ (Khallys).
With this I'll try to find compilations (get in touch) Killer sound!
10) End as you want...
I've just leaved my band FAUST (technical Blackmetal) and I think they will
split, without me they are nothing, just castle in the air. Thanks for the
