1) HELLo Diamargareton,
to begin a boring Question. Please give me a short History of DIAMATREGON.
Diamatregon started in 1997. I made 3 demos as a one man band and 2 albums
have been recorded as a full band ( Me on vocals + strings , ‘Url on
Vocals + strings and Krukka on Drums). Also, we just have a 7ep vinyl out
on Agonia records (POL) and Paragon Intl. (USA) since July 2003.
2) On the „Blasphemy
for Satan“ youve covered „Death comes Ripping“ from the
masters of Horror and evil THE MISFITS. It is very unusual, but great. Why
The MISFITS? Whats your favourite Output of them and do you like other of
the Evil Roots, for instance MÖTORHEAD or the SEX PISTOLS?
Why THE MISFITS? Because Glen Danzig. Also, there is something crazy and very
pure in THE MISFITS. We also rehearsed a couple of time « London Dongeon
» but it didn’t turned so good in our hands. Death Comes Ripping
is the first song we started rehearsing after the recording of the firts album
« The Satanic Devotion », but it took time to make the spirit
of the song our. Finally, the recorded version is maybe more DIAMATREGON than
DIAMATREGON .
No favourite output of them, love all with Glen.
3) Also I think that, especially
in the Refrain „Blasphemy for Satan“, DIAMATREGON a little bit
is influence by Punk Rock. Thats right? Which you describe your Style?
Yes, this song is POP music and gets on nerves of many peaple. We should make
a video and go on MTV to compete with Offspring.
I would say we do some vintage black metal or something.
4) Your Tracks are very
satanic and full of Blasphemy. Please tell me the meaning of „October
Ritual“ and „The Beast is dead“.
Yes, it is « blasphemy for satan ». A true feeling does not deserve
a meaning.
5) Do you see yourself
as a Satanist? Do you see Satanism only as a tool for antichristian Propaganda?
I think its go deeper. What do you think of Crowley?
Yes. Who cares about fucking christians? And who cares about Crowley? Not
me at least.
6) Do you practise Rituals?
What do you think of Adoration and Worship to Satan? Think that is the same
like to belief in God?
Rituals… hum , I don’t rape dead virgin everyday, that is sure.
If you believe in God, you believe in Satan.
7) Please tell me your

8) Whats yor Opinion about
the french Scene? Please tell me what do you think about the follow: a)The
Black Legions b) Drakkar Productions c)NUIT NOIRE d)WAKBOTH e)CELESTIA
French scene improved a lot. I wonder how it will turn with years.
a)Black legions : their way of resistance is exemplar.
b) Drakkar : I heard a lot of strange stuff on them, anyway, they released
some excellent stuff like Nahash. This record gives me cold stuff. I wonder
what they became.
c) Nuit noire is excellent. I know the drummer, I like the way the band stay
away in a way.
d) Wakboth : never heard of it .
e) Celestia : nothing special . I have some records, but don’t listen
to it. Maybe I should as they are now on AGONIA records.
9) What do you think of
the Vampire Spirit and Mystic that have alot of french Acts?
I am not sure that a lot of French acts have a vampire spirit. The more a
band is mystic, the better it is. Scandinavian scene lost a lot of this mystic
aura around BM.
10) Do you listen to other
Styles of Metal and Music? France have a big Industrial Scene, interested
in that?
Yes, we listen to a lot of stuff. And after metal, I surely listen to a lot
of Industrial music, often French.
11) Have you or the other
Members of DIAMATREGON Side Projects?
A ll the 3 of us have side projects. But DIAMATREGON is our main band .
For the news about the side stuff :
- BLACKLODGE is finally going to release its first album of Industrial Black
Metal through Blazing productions (NL) . I do bass with them.
- THE ARRIVAL OF SATAN is releasing an album through Sacral prod. It is transylvanian
hunger Black metal. Krukka made the drums parts for the album.
12) Any Future Plans? A
new Release, Live Invocation...?
No more live perf. We can’t rehearse anymore. We are on 3 differents
continents. But we will meet again to record our 3d full lenght. DIAMATREGON
III “Crossroad” should be ready for end 2004 or early 2005.
