From a purely technical perspective, this album is medicore by black metal standard; the drumming is a bit sloppy at times and there are some faults in the playing, but to be honest; it doesn't matter, because this album still manages to rip and shred and tear its way to the top of my list of favourite albums within black metal! It's filled with such intense hatred that one doesn't care about things like the lyrics not being very original, or that they have a few faults on their playing (which really isn't very noticeable), because the sheer aggression and hatred these guys spew out makes me think of some religiously devoted fanatic monsters who butcher down innocent people for Satan. Cheesy description, perhaps, but oh well.. There is also a really cool Misfits cover on this album, by the song Death Comes Ripping, which sounds really awesome as a fast black metal song! Attutude-wise, this band sounds closer to some hardcore punk bands than most fast, brutal black metal, with it's straight-forward, no-bullshit attitude (which a lot of BM bands try on, but fail at musically).
Strongly recommended!

Raw black metal from France, second album; a killer release, really well done mix between in your face songs and more atmospheric ones. The musicianship is top-notch, as is the production, really has that nice raw edge. Some parts remind me of cyfaws by Antaeus. Also, there’s a great Misfits cover.
Highly recommended!

If this isn't the most violently attacking black metal i have ever heard it has at least smacked me stupid enough to forget what is. I picked this gem up at a second hand store where the story goes; its previous owner was found in a bloody mess beside his speakers, ears melted beyond all recognition...he obviously couldn't handle his metal. This is the second fullength release from French black metallers Diamatregon the first being their 'Satanic Devotion' cd.
Blasphemy for Satan is for the most part black metal and raw as hell and the production is a step up from the previous Satanic cd - not as much feedback this time around but still extremely stripped down. Diam's vokills cut through the blast and overdrive like nails on a chalkboard with full force and conviction. A cover of the Misfits 'Death Comes Ripping' that will tear your skin off was one of the standouts for me as too the grand finale 'The Beast is Dead'.
The latter of the 2 aforementioned tracks is a 20+minute trip through hell, a slow and
torturous epic tale which would fill an entire b-side and give this release a real vintage feeling were it in vinyl format (maybe one day?) With some of the best black metal nowadays coming out of France, this is no exception. Blasphemy For Satan is tough as hell black metal that you can bang your head to, and thats an order not a suggestion!!!

The always diverse tUMULt label has scored another sonic victory with French black metal band Diamatregon. While BM bands like Cradle of Filth drive the genre toward marketing and merch driven oblivion, the underground still has the potential to generate truly uncompromising extreme music. Diamatregon takes the decidedly lo-fi approach of early bands such as Darkthrone and Burzum, but eschew traditional BM tempos in favor of a dynamically rich collection of speed n' dirge. Over-saturated vocal shrieks pierce the chaos, guitars and percussion churn violently in the mix...
the end result is a collection of songs that sound truly destructive and evil.
If the multi-layered, overprocessed black metal of the day has got you down (and the T-shirts... the more outrageous and tasteless, the better the sales, I guess)
Diamatregon may be the thing for you.
A freshing blast furnace of lo-fi hatred in the face of the watered-down and sold out.

DIAMATREGON " Blasphemy for Satan"
Gruppo vivamente consigliato!

And to end all this claptrap with bazooka-blown punctuation, we've got Diamatregon's
arse-ripping 'Blasphemy For Satan' (tUMULt/DMG). While France has been
long known for the grimmest'n'most-regressive of black-fucking-metals, Diamatregon are indicative of a new trend among their countrymen - I believe James called it 'brutal BM' -
where the general gnarliness'n'trashiness of said older contingent now gets a
lethal nod toward Australia's 'war metal' movement, which a similar new breed of
Swedish BM (Bestial Mockery, Watain, Malign) also nods toward.
Or, simply a matter of being violently atmospheric vs. atmospherically violent -
there's dynamics there, trust me. When you can be mentioned among the ranks of
AntaeuS, Arkhon Infaustus, Deathspell Omega, Merrimack, Temple of Baal, Garwall, and Aosoth, you know you can SHRED souls and heads. Ripped, I tell ya', just fucking RIPPED.

DIAMATREGON " Blasphemy for Satan"

DIAMATREGON " Blasphemy for Satan"

DIAMATREGON " Blasphemy for Satan"

2nd album of French black metal band, who began as one-man band but now full-memnber band. Mainly, they use ultra fast part with intense blast, raw tremelo riffs, and hysteric screaming voice. Sometimes they add middle with the hope of melodies, silent interlude, and so on... Sound production is very raw but all instruments are celarly heard.
Anyway, very intense black metal.

DIAMATREGON " Blasphemy for Satan"
Diamatregon are a French black metal band who specialise in violently thrashing, ultra chaotic, on-the-verge-of-losing-control, over-saturated, super distorted and noisy, TRUE black metal. Fast and furious with the occasional midtempo breakdown and a once-in-a-while doomy dirge. But they also happen to have an amazing way with melodies, as 1000 mile an hour blasts can get pretty tedious, pretty quickly. So even though the songs sometimes sound like a black metal band being hurled down a stairway (a good thing, mind you) the songs stick in your head more than you would think possible. And the occasional midtempos, full of fuzzed out guitars and simple relentless drumming, definitely bring to mind the mighty Burzum. A thick, hyperspeed and hellish brew of harsh, inhuman howls, amp melting, overdriven guitars, thrashing drums with a lo-fi, but remarkably heavy production. They even cover the Misfits' Death Comes Ripping, turning it into a 90 second blast of sinister, speaker shredding, head banging, church burning high end brutality.
Blasphemy For Satan is eight metal thrashing mad tracks clocking in at 45 minutes.
Twenty of those minutes just happen to make up the crushing final track, an extended doom epic, equal parts, moody post rock, Sabbathy dirge, and all out noise assault, complete with bizarre samples, found sounds, and super complex arrangements, and as reminiscent of old AMREP bands as it is Norwegian black metal.
Diamatregon actually sent their cd to Andee/tUMULt because they were huge fans of the label as well as Circle and Acid Mothers Temple and lots of decidedly non metal music, and were really wanting to release their record on a not-specifically-metal label, which seems to work well with tUMUlt's good-music-is-good-music mantra and their mission to expose non-metalheads to metal, and metalheads to non-metal!
But whether you're a metalhead or not, Diamatregon spew forth some amazingly heavy, undeniably catchy, and totally intense blackened sounds.

The Misfitsin Death Comes Ripping on hieman yllättävä cover-veisu, joka kylläkin sopii bändin tyyliin mainiosti. Blasphemy for Satan on nauhoitettu runsas vuosi sitten Hellfuck-studiolla, eivätkä soundit kovin herkkua olekaan; pellit paukkuvat ja kitarat sähisevät. Lopullinen kuva Diamatregonista on melko mitäänsanomaton.

DIAMATREGON - "The satanic devotion" & "Blasphemy for satan":

DIAMATREGON " Blasphemy for Satan"
This album from French black metal band Diamatregon is quite impressive. If I understand correctly, this is the band's second album recording, and contains eight tracks that span 45 minutes. The label on the disk reads "Diamatregon II - Blasphemy for Satan" which prompts us to wonder if the first Diamatregon burned down, or something. It shouldn't surprise us, considering how hot the infernal flames of Hell burn within this band.
The songs on Blasphemy for Satan tend to be fast on the first few tracks. The band manages to make them stand out from one another fairly well with some use of melody. Later on in the disk, more slowed down, evil passages are explored with success.
The jury is still out on whether Diamatregon is playing their songs under control, or if the band members just set their internal switches to "evil" and are going off. Where this may be many bands' downfall, the controlled messiness of Diamatregon really works in the band's favor. Very much adding to this impression is how the vocals are delivered with utterly reckless abandon. You can tell the band doesn't give a fuck: they've got the evil lumps of coal where a heart should be in the right place and are belting out tune after tune of mad, wonderful black metal.
As far as black metal goes, the sound quality on Blasphemy for Satan is at least as good as a lot of albums from bands that have been signed. Diamatregon is on the verge of releasing something completely fantastic.

Just what the Black Metal scene needs, another band with chaotic and rather sloppy musicianship. DIAMATREGON hail out of France and play extremely raw/primitive Black Metal. "Neanderthal Black Metal" is a term I heard at one point when someone was discussing these guys and is a perfect term I would say. At times throughout the disc the musicianship gets a bit tighter, with more melodic parts which shows that they CAN actually play when they want to. The vocals get two thumbs down, they make me cringe once they set in and can´t stand them. They´ve got a MISFITS cover on here called "Death Comes Ripping" so if you ever wanted to hear a Black Metal version of that song here you go. DIAMATREGON " Blasphemy for Satan"
Wenn also dazugelernt wird, schaut beim nächsten Opus garantiert was Besseres raus!
english trasnlation :
Currently, there are a lot less bands coming from France that base their lyrics on purely satanic concepts. S.V.E.S.T. may serve as a good example here. Diamatregon can also be counted to those bands that managed to cause a stir in the semi-underground, despite being relatively unknown - at least if you look at some of the French reviews. All this praising made me curious, and so I decided to get my hands on "Blasphemy For Satan", their current release.
And well, I can actually agree with the opinion of the other reviewers in the beginning: A nice BM-inferno with a certain Thrash note to it, therefore no keyboards or annoyingly well produced sound. Additionally, the songs are quite divers, but - and this is the whole problem - it all sounds pretty ripped off. High-speed-attacks, sluggish arrangements ("Mystic Death", which sounds more like highly depressive one-man-bands such as Wigrid) and an exhausting collage of previously castaway ideas, namely "The Beast Is Dead" - those are the ingredients which this release is based upon. While the six minutes and a half-long "Mystic Death" proves that this horde can be really good (at least if they want to), they otherwise move on a thin line between insignificance and autonomy. On one hand, front man Diamargareton and his men manage to create absolutely excellent melodies, on the other, the time between these is filled with boring, worn-out riffs. Consequently, none of the songs but "Mystic Death" is fully convincing. The pinnacle of brazenness is the last track on this release, though. Being seven minutes in length, it is composed of nothing else than about nine or ten passages connected through film samples and then shot through the mixer. What you get is one of the most incoherent semi-compositions I have ever heard. If nothing else, a successful try to stretch this album to a most likely predetermined playing time.
Nevertheless, Diamatregon are not a lost cause, as from time to time, they show that they are capable of (a lot) more. What they should avoid in the future is using once abandoned parts or adding pointless attachments to the songs. If they heed this advice, their next effort can only be an improvement.
